The club is delighted to announce the news that Bailey Dall and Kai Smutek have both signed new contracts to remain at the club.
The defensive duo have featured on a regular basis in the Lowland League this season, where the Wee Jambos achieved a second placed finish.
Bailey, who predominantly features as a left-back, has penned a new one-year deal, with the option for a further year included, meanwhile, central defender Kai has agreed a deal until the summer of 2026.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, B Team head coach Liam Fox said:
“Firstly, I’m delighted that Kai has signed a new contract. He has shown a big improvement this season and has taken the step up to the B Team in his stride, resulting in him establishing himself as a regular starter in the centre of defence.
“We’re really happy with the progress he has made this season. He has shown a great attitude and application and every day he comes into training with a desire to learn.
“Bailey is another player who has shown a great attitude this season. Like Kai, he has shown he has the right mentality, and the right attributes for the way we try to play.
“Next season will be a big one for both. Competition for places will be really tough, but that is the environment we want to create, with players facing tough challenges every day. That is the only way they will improve as players.”
