Don’t worry if you’ve not played since your schooldays, our sessions are designed to ease you back into being a bit more active and are suitable for all levels of fitness.
We are delighted that Netball Scotland will be partnering with us throughout and we look forward to offering these new sessions in what is a rapidly growing sport for over 50s.
Please note: Don't worry if you can't commit to the whole 12 weeks! This programme is designed to suit you and your needs. Come and go as you please, however do take advantage of the free activity!
Walking Netball: "Take a trip back to memory lane"
Haven’t played netball in years? Or perhaps you’ve never tried it before but would love to give it a go?
Our Walking Netball group is perfect for the 50+ age group who want to stay active in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. The pace is gentler, the focus is on enjoyment, and everyone is welcome — whether you’re returning to the court after a break or starting fresh.
This isn’t about competition or keeping score — it’s about moving at your own pace, having a laugh, and enjoying the social side of the game. Come along, meet new people, and rediscover the joy of netball in a relaxed setting.
Start date: Tuesday 5th May, 18.00 - 19.00 at The Oriam, Herriot Watt University
End date: Tuesday 21st July.
Walking Football: "Re-vitalise your playing career"
