18 October 2024

Tynecastle Park Hotel is celebrating after being shortlisted for the prestigious 'Hospitality & Premium Award' at the seventh annual TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2024.

This nomination places the hotel among some of the world’s best venues, highlighting its exceptional design and innovation to transform Tynecastle Park and its hospitality offering.

This international recognition comes hot on the heels of Tynecastle Park Hotel's recent victory at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2024, where it secured the coveted Commercial Project of the Year title.

The latest nomination further cements the hotel’s status as a standout venue, with its blend of comfort, innovation and seamless integration within Tynecastle Park’s Main Stand.

Competing on this global platform, Tynecastle Park Hotel has been nominated for the award along with:

- Porsche Tunnel Club at MHPArena (VfB Stuttgart)

- Roof Deck Hospitality at M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)

- The Mezz at AO Arena (Manchester)

- The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways at The O2 (London)

- Yas Marina Paddock Club – Abu Dhabi (Ethara/BDP)

The Hospitality & Premium Award honours the best in design for hospitality, VIP, sponsor, or premium spaces within venues, with a focus on design innovation, functionality, sustainability, and delivering a memorable ‘wow’ factor.

This shortlisting recognises Tynecastle Park Hotel's commitment to excellence in hospitality, enhancing the matchday experience for all guests.

Graeme Pacitti, Hospitality and Hotel Director at Heart of Midlothian, expressed his pride in the shortlisting:

"It’s such an honour to be shortlisted alongside some truly incredible venues and to be recognised on this level,” he said.

“To be mentioned in the same breath as some of the most iconic stadiums and hospitality spaces in the world is a massive achievement for Tynecastle Park Hotel and Heart of Midlothian. This nomination alone is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of everyone involved."

In addition to Tynecastle Park Hotel’s nomination, other global heavyweights in venue design and innovation, such as The Sphere in Las Vegas, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu (Real Madrid), Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, are also competing across different categories.

Winners of the award will be announced at the Design & Development Awards Presentation and Winners Party on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, as part of the 12th annual Design & Development Summit.
