Cammy and Kye make Socceroos squad

29 May 2024

Cammy Devlin and Kye Rowles have been called up to the Australia squad.

The Hearts duo will join up with the Socceroos for next month’s 2026 World Cup Asian qualifying double-header.

Cammy’s recall to Graham Arnold’s national squad caps off a fine end to his 2023/24 campaign, which saw him earn Hearts’ player of the month award for April following a string of impressive performances in the middle of the park.

Kye has become one of the first names on the Socceroos’ teamsheet. He was part of a backline that recorded 14 league clean sheets, propelling the Jambos to third place in the Premiership and guaranteed group stage European football.

Australia have already booked their place in the next phase of their qualifying campaign after winning four group games from four. They sign off from the second round with a trip to Bangladesh on June 6th before hosting Palestine five days later.
