Jambos' July training camp
27 May 2024Hearts will head to Tenerife for a pre-season training camp.
Steven Naismith takes his Europe-bound squad to the Canary Islands for a week of intense warm weather training at the start of July.
The Jambos will spend seven days building up fitness behind closed doors ahead of what promises to be a blockbuster 2024/25 campaign.
Back on home soil, the boys in maroon will host Leyton Orient in a friendly match, presented by LNER, at Tynecastle Park on July 13th before travelling south to face Fleetwood Town on July 27th.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, the Head Coach said: “Warm weather training has become an essential part of pre-season as we prepare for the season ahead.
“The players will be working every day – double sessions and gym – so the camp gives them the best chance of building up a base level of fitness, which will be required as we participate on both domestic and European fronts.
“It’s also a great opportunity for the boys to spend time with each other and further develop the team spirit that played a huge role in our success last season.”
