Supporter Information: Hibs v Hearts

20 January 2023

Hearts’ total allocation of tickets have sold out so please do not travel to the game if you do not have a ticket.

Supporters attending the match are asked to arrive early as enhanced screening and searching will take place. Arriving well in advance of kick-off will reduce the chances of delated entry and fans missing the start of the game.

Supporters will face an initial ticket check to ensure that you have a valid match ticket thereafter searches will take place. Searching is a condition of entry and refusal to cooperate will result in entry being denied. No bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper will be permitted.

It should be noted that the Edinburgh derby on 2nd January was marred by a number of incidents of unacceptable conduct. Both clubs have worked with Police Scotland to identify and take sanctions against those involved and further arrests are likely.

Supporters deemed to have consumed excess alcohol will be refused entry. Fans are reminded not to attempt to bring any prohibited items into the stadium, including pyrotechnics which are inherently unstable and dangerous to the user and those in proximity.

There has been an increase in the use of pyrotechnics at recent away games and the club implores supporters not to attempt to bring these items to any Hearts game. Pyrotechnics are inherently unstable and dangerous to the user and those in proximity.

Unacceptable conduct will result in ejection from the stadium and any supporter who has been ejected will face sanctions in accordance with our unacceptable conduct policy.
