Harry Milne
The defender joins the Jambos on an 18-month deal from the Firhill side for an undisclosed fee, subject to Scottish FA approval.
Part of the agreement sees Hearts B Team full-back Ethan Drysdale move to Partick on loan until the end of the season.
28-year-old Harry, a regular standout for Thistle, boasts a wealth of Scottish football experience, showing drive and determination throughout his career to ultimately make it to Tynecastle Park.
Having spent time in Aberdeen’s youth system, Harry began his senior career at Cove Rangers, helping them to win back-to-back promotions from the Highland League to League Two, then up to League One between 2018 and 2020.
Missing out on winning League One by four points in 2020/21, Cove went one better and clinched the title the following season, and with it promotion to the Championship.
Partick Thistle came calling in 2022 and during his time in Maryhill the Jags would finish fourth and third in the Championship, coming ever so close to reaching the Premiership but losing out in the play-off final and semi-final, respectively.
Harry has crossed paths with the Jam Tarts in the past through the League Cup. His Cove Rangers side were beaten by the boys in maroon at Balmoral in 2018 and in Gorgie in 2021, before another visit to Tynecastle, this time with Partick Thistle in 2023, saw a 4-0 reverse.
With more than 200 professional appearances under his belt, along with 30 goals and 20 assists, he’ll now call Gorgie his home.
