Luke is a commanding central defender and has been a regular at the heart of the Wee Jambos' defence in recent times.

After featuring alongside Callum Flatman for much of the 22/23 Lowland League season, Rathie now captains Hearts B, after Flatman joined Edinburgh City on loan at the beginning of 2024.

In May 2023, Rathie was the latest Hearts youngster to agree a new contract at the club and with the extra responsibility of the armband, he has enjoyed a productive season in a successful Hearts B side under the guidance of head coach Liam Fox.
