Beith departs

12 July 2024

The club can confirm that Gavin Beith will depart the club to pursue an exciting opportunity overseas.

Beith joined the club in January last year, initially working as joint assistant coach, alongside Sean Burt, but solely took up the role when Burt moved into a newly formed head of recruitment role last summer.

A popular figure in the camp, Beith has been an integral part of the training and coaching set-up at the club, as it continues to make positive strides with results on the pitch.

After 18 months in maroon, Beith now departs to explore pastures new. The club would like to place on record it’s thanks to Gavin for all his hard work and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his career.

Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, manager Eva Olid said:

“I’ve had such a great time working alongside Gav. With the experience and knowledge that he has in Scottish football, he’s been so important for me to have around as I continue to pick up things on the Scottish game.

“He will be a big miss for us, but he leaves to take up a really good opportunity and we wish him all the best.”

All the best, Gav!
