The club has received an update from UEFA with regards to Europa Conference League Q3 scheduling which we wish to share with supporters.
In addition to the information below, we once again strongly encourage fans not to book travel and accommodation until the Q2 round has been completed.
Hearts were paired with either Crusaders of Northern Ireland or Rosenborg of Norway in the draw for Q3 on Monday. Ties were scheduled for August 10th (away) and August 17th (home).
However, a potential city/stadium clash has been identified by UEFA in relation to Europa Conference League fixtures involving Northern Irish clubs.
Should Larne FC emerge victorious from their Q2 tie with FC Ballkani of Kosovo and Crusaders defeat Rosenborg in Q2, then the first leg of Crusaders v Hearts will be moved from Thursday, August 10th to Tuesday, August 8th with the venue and kick off time TBC.
The second leg at Tynecastle Park will not be impacted and will be played on Thursday, August 17th, kick off time TBC.
For clarification, should Rosenborg win the Q2 match with Crusaders, then the first leg against Hearts will take place in Trondheim on Thursday, August 10th (kick off time TBC) with the return leg at Tynecastle on Thursday, August 17th (kick off time TBC).
The club will update supporters as and when more information becomes available.
