Hearts Women is delighted to announce the signing of Lisa Robertson, who joins the club on a two-year deal from Celtic.

The vastly experienced Robertson joins the club having already lifted every domestic trophy in Scotland during an already very decorated career. As well as her time in Scottish football, Robertson has also featured in the WSL with Birmingham City, before returning north.

Now Robertson is swapping green and white for maroon, penning a deal at Tynecastle until the summer of 2026.

Speaking to the Official Hearts Website, manager Eva Olid said:

“I’m very happy to add such an experienced player not only to the pitch, but to the dressing room also.

“Over the course of several seasons now, Lisa has shown that not only is she a fantastic player, but she is a serial winner. Possessing a fantastic determination to succeed at the highest level for both club and country.

“We see Lisa as a real ball-playing midfielder, which means she’ll suit the way we want to play. I have no doubts that she’ll fit in perfectly here at Hearts and I look forward to working with her.”

Women’s Head of Recruitment Sean Burt added:

“Lisa’s career speaks for itself, and we’re delighted that she’s chosen to make the move to Hearts.

“We’re constantly asked how do we take that next step and bridge the gap to the top 3? We believe by bringing someone like Lisa to the club, who has won all there is to win domestically in Scotland, will help us do that.

“When we met with Lisa, it was clear that her ambitions where to have Hearts challenging for trophies. Immediately, we felt this would be a great fit.”

Welcome to Hearts, Lisa!
