Lawrence Shankland has won December’s SPFL cinch Premiership Player of the Month Award.
The Jambos skipper continued his red-hot scoring streak last month, notching six times to help the boys in maroon consolidate third place in the table.
After heading Hearts in front at Pittodrie, he bagged a goal in the 2-0 win at Celtic Park before striking a brace - including a goal of the season contender - in a home victory over St Mirren.
That was followed up by a memorable injury time Edinburgh derby winner, and he would finish off the year with the equaliser against Ross County at Tynecastle.
With 18 goals in maroon to his name so far this season, Lawrence has scored seven times in Hearts’ last six games.
