Toby: Just a cheeky chip, innit?

The big defender lifted the ball cheekily over David Marshall to round off the scoring in a 3-0 win in Leith, sealing his first goal for the club and booking passage to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
 
After being denied his maiden goal in maroon the last time Hearts and Hibs met, the big man was thrilled to finally secure his first strike.
 
“It’s amazing,” he told Hearts TV. “I don’t think we played our best football today, it was a difficult game, but I think taking the lead settled the nerves a bit. Me and Cheesy always talked about me scoring, especially after I was ruled out in the last derby. Luckily it came today, and I’m delighted.
 
“I think we saw it against Aberdeen as well; we weren’t at our best but team spirit is high at the moment and we know that we’re a solid team that’s hard to break down. We’ll keep taking each game as it comes and keep wanting to win.
 
“I screamed at Humps that we were in for my goal. He slides me in, I take a heavy touch but deal with, and yeah. Just a cheeky chip, innit?”
