Jorge Grant admits Hearts’ recent run of form and performance levels has been enjoyable, but added it’s all about pushing on and finishing the season on a high.
The Jambos head to Perth Sunday looking to get back on the winning trail and Grant admits he’s been enjoying being back in the team.
Speaking to the media at the pre-match press conference, he said:
“Obviously it's been enjoyable, especially with our turn of form at the moment. We've done really well picking up points, and to be back playing again, obviously it was tough being out of the team for a moment. So, yeah, it's been nice to play.
“I feel like the fans probably haven't seen the total best of me yet because I've been so in and out of the team.
“I felt like the back end of last year when I sort of played a bit higher up and played quite a lot of games, the team saw the best of me a bit more and also the fans and getting game time in that sort of area, the higher up towards the goal, I felt like I was more effective, I would say.
“I know I can play all the positions in midfield. Obviously, I played wide as well this season. So, I always feel like I can contribute to the team well.
“But the back end of last year, I'd probably say, was my best stint in the team and I think that's where they saw the best of me. I just want to finish the season as strong as I can and help the team as well as I can.”
