Hearts to host Stoke in Gary Locke testimonial

The English Championship side will visit Tynecastle park to face Robbie Neilson’s first-team on Saturday, July 23rd at 3pm.

After more than 20 years of sterling service to Hearts, it was announced last year that club legend Lockie would be granted a testimonial year. 

A former player, captain, Scottish Cup-winner, coach, manager and current Principal Ambassador, Lockie has been honoured in a series of events, the penultimate of which is the visit of Michael O’Neill’s side to Gorgie as both teams continue their preparations for the season ahead.

Tickets will be priced at £12 for adults, £6 for concessions and under 16s, and £4 for under 13s. Fans can buy their tickets now by visiting Hearts eTickets by clicking here or in person at the Hearts Ticket Office at Tynecastle. Please note that there will be no phone sales for this game.

The Jambos’ pre-season schedule has begun to take shape, with other top team friendlies against East Fife (Jul 5), Spartans (Jul 6), Bonnyrigg Rose (Jul 9), Tranmere Rovers (Jul 13) and Preston North End (Jul 20) also confirmed.
