B Team trio depart

The club can confirm that Harry Gordon, Callum Flatman and Murray Thomas will depart the club this summer, following the expiration of their contracts.

 

A centre midfielder by trade, Harry has been with the club since the age of 12. Joining the club from Leith Athletic in 2016, he is a graduate of the Balerno Performance School and was part of the squad who featured in the 2022 Youth Cup Final.

 

Callum is another graduate of the performance school and has also been with the club since the age of 12, joining from Stenhousemuir in 2016.He captained the side in the Youth Cup Final in 2022 and after a productive 18 months in the Lowland League with the B Team, he joined Edinburgh City on loan in January 2024, scoring against Falkirk on his debut.

 

Murray has been with the club since 2015, when he joined the Jambos from Linlithgow Rose. He scored in the Youth Cup Final in 2022 and made his senior debut at Celtic Park in May 2022.

 

B Team head coach Liam Fox added:

 

“Firstly, I’d like to thank all the guys for their hard work and effort throughout their Hearts careers.

 

“From a personal point of view, they have all been a pleasure to work with. They are very hard working and have lots of attributes that will be of interest to other clubs.

 

“We wish them all the very best for the future and once again, thank them for all their efforts in a maroon jersey.”

 

The club would also like to place on record it’s thanks and best wishes to U18s players Alexander Walker, Harvey Chisholm and Jamie Anderson, who will also be departing the club this summer upon the expiration of their contracts.
