Mooney departs

Hearts Women can confirm that Kate Mooney has left the club through mutual consent.

The striker joined the club in January from Lewes FC, marking her debut with a goal in a Scottish Cup victory over East Fife.

Kate went on to play her part in making history as she opened the scoring at the national stadium in our Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Spartans, which saw the Jambos progress to a first ever Scottish Cup Final.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Kate for all her efforts in a maroon jersey and wish her all the very best for the future.
