Liam Fox spoke to Hearts TV following this afternoon's 3-2 defeat to Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
The Interim Head Coach heaped praised on the Jambos' attitude and application, as they played out a five goal thriller with the table topping Dons in the north east.
He also discussed the decision to send off Jorge Grant in the second half.
Speaking to HTV, Liam said: "I'm disappointed for the players, as I couldn't have asked for much more from them.
"They put everything in today and we dominated for large spells of the game. We created really good chances but, sadly, we come away with nothing.
"There's no doubt that the red card changed the flow of the game. There were a couple of things before that though. Before the second goal, the ball is rolling at the free-kick.
"They then score and Jorge Grant is booked for dissent for highlighting that, which it was, and he's then sent off later in the game.
"In a world of small margins, they went against us today, and that's hugely frustrating."
